TEDxZurich
Since 2010, TEDxZurich has been a platform for spreading ideas that matter — locally and globally. For 15 years, we've brought people together to celebrate curiosity, spark conversations, and inspire action through independently organized TEDx events in Zürich.
Guided by the core values of TED — open-mindedness, inclusion, truth, generosity, and a deep belief in the power of ideas — we've built a community of changemakers, thinkers, doers, and dreamers.
Today, TEDxZurich is entering an exciting phase of renewal. We're redefining our activities, reshaping our strategy, and rebuilding the organization for its next chapter — the Life Cycles season.
What is TEDx?
In the spirit of TED's mission — "ideas worth spreading" — the TEDx program exists to help communities, organizations, and individuals spark conversation and connection through local, self-organized events.
TEDxZurich is an independently organized TEDx event, operating under a free license from TED. The content, themes, and organization are entirely our own — but we share the same commitment to ideas that can change attitudes, lives, and ultimately the world.
All TEDxZurich talks are recorded and published on the TEDxZurich YouTube channel .
2026 – 2027 Season
Life Cycles.
The TEDxZurich 2026–2027 season, titled Life Cycles, unfolds as an interconnected three-part circular journey through the human experience. It begins with our roots and sense of stability, flows into growth and movement, and finally shifts into ideas around preservation, death, and collections.
The season's scale and format will blend from small engagements into larger events to create an evolving, continuous narrative. It starts with community activations from June to September 2026 to expand a dedicated and targeted audience across Zürich and beyond. This is followed by a season opening event in autumn 2026, flowing into a large-scale flagship event in spring 2027, and concludes in summer 2027 with a sequence of events that completes the cycle.
